AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS for Wilson Road Restaurant Equipment Auction:

AUCTION ITEMS LOCATION:  Auction 757 warehouse, 1140 Wilson Rd., Norfolk VA 23523

AUCTION END DATE: Tuesday, February 25, 2025, beginning with Lot #1 @ 10:30 AM & 1 item every 30 seconds thereafter.

AUTO-EXTENDED BIDDING: Our auctions feature a Simulated Live Auction Experience with staggered closings, auto-extend bidding and bid notifications. This allows items to close at a pre-determined rate of 1 item every 30 seconds. We also feature auto-extend bidding, which means that the closing time of an individual lot will be extended if a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes of the item's closing. This allows you a chance to place a final bid on an item you may have otherwise missed, and closely simulates a "live auction.”

AUCTION INSPECTION: Monday, February 24, 2025, 9 AM - 1 PM.
We want you to get the best deal possible and encourage you to inspect all items before bidding. Due to the number of items we sell, we do NOT have time to test items. All due diligence belongs to the bidder. If you have any questions pertaining to a specific lot, please call 757-512-8833 BEFORE placing a bid. If you cannot make it to the preview, but have questions on specific items, you may call Natalie at 757-287-8797 or Tucker at 757-512-8833, DURING THE PREVIEW, and they will be happy to send you pictures/video of the items.

AUCTION PICKUP TIME: By appointment ONLY on Wednesday, February 26 from 9 AM - 3 PM. 
Once you have been notified of winning an item, the item contractually becomes yours, and any fees associated with moving, removing, disposing of, or collecting payment, whether physical or legal become your responsibility. 
An invoice will be emailed to each successful bidder after the auction ends on Tuesday, February 25. 
Please schedule a pick-up appointment and specify payment method BEFORE the auction ends.
You may request an appointment any time after 9 AM on Monday, February 24 by texting Natalie at 757-287-8797 with your bidder #, your name and your preferred pick-up time. If you do not request an appointment in advance, Natalie will email your invoice with 16% BP plus 6% sales tax & text you with an assigned pick-up appointment time. PLEASE, NO TEXTS AFTER 8 PM.

ABANDONED ITEMS: ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 3 PM WEDNESDAY, February 26, 2025. Items not picked up within this schedule will be considered abandoned.
You are required to pay for all items you bid on and win in this auction, WHETHER OR NOT you pick them up. Your credit card, on file, will be charged for your total balance, including the 16% Buyer's Premium and the 6% sales tax, if you abandon your purchases. Should your payment be declined, you will be banned from participating in all future auctions, and the Auctioneer will pursue legal recourse to collect the amount you owe. All attorney's fees, court costs, and other legal fees will be the responsibility of the Bidder. In addition, interest will accrue on any unpaid balance, at the rate of 18% per annum, until the balance is paid in full.

PAYMENT: Your total invoice must be paid, in full, the morning following the auction. You will receive an invoice for your total which will include a 16% Buyers Premium (discounted to 12% for cash IF you tell Natalie BEFORE the auction ends that you will be paying cash), plus 6% sales tax. Credit cards being used for payment must be saved in your Bidder Profile, as all credit card payments are processed online only. Placing a bid contractually binds you to paying for an item. You are required to pay for all items you bid on and win in this auction, WHETHER OR NOT you pick them up. No charge backs or refunds will be allowed.

SALES TAX: 6% Virginia Sales Tax will be charged on all purchases, unless appropriate tax exemption forms are received by Natalie, prior to the close of bidding for the auction.

WARRANTY, CONDITIONS & DESCRIPTIONS: All items are sold as-is, where-is, with NO warranties expressed or implied, and there are NO refunds given, for any reason. Please read the description & examine the photos when bidding. If there is any doubt when viewing an item, go by the description, as photographs sometimes include items that are NOT part of the lot. Most importantly, we strongly encourage you to preview the auction in person. Neither the auctioneer, nor the seller, makes any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to said property.
