AUTO-EXTENDED BIDDING: Our auctions feature a Simulated Live
Auction Experience with staggered closings, auto-extend bidding and bid
notifications. This allows items to close at a pre-determined rate of 1 item per minute. We also feature auto-extend bidding, which means that the closing
time of an individual lot will be extended when a bid is placed in the last 2
minutes of the item's closing. This allows you a chance to place a final bid on
an item you may have otherwise missed, and closely simulates a "live
auction.”
AUCTION INSPECTION: Monday, August 29, 2022, 9 AM - 12 PM.
We want you
to get the best deal possible and encourage you to inspect all items before
bidding. Due to the number of items we sell, we do NOT have time to test
items. All due diligence belongs to the bidder. If you have
any questions pertaining to a specific lot, please call 757-512-8833 BEFORE
placing a bid! If you cannot make it to the preview, but have questions on
specific items, you may call or text Natalie (757-287-8797) during the preview, and she will be happy
to send you pictures/video of the items.
AUCTION PICKUP TIME: By appointment ONLY on Wednesday, August 31st from 9
AM - 12 PM, except reefer trailers, which must be picked up between 12 PM, 8/31 & 5 PM, 9/2/2022.
Once you have been notified of winning an item, the item contractually becomes
yours, and any fees associated with moving, removing, disposing of, or
collecting payment, whether physical or legal are the responsibility of the
bidder.
An invoice will be emailed to successful bidders after the auction ends on
Tuesday, August 30th. Please schedule a pick-up appointment AND specify payment method BEFORE the auction ends. You may
request an appointment any time after 9 AM on Monday, August 29th by texting
Natalie at 757-287-8797 with your bidder #, your name and your preferred pick-up
time. If you do not request an appointment in advance, Natalie will email your
invoice with 15% BP & text you with an assigned pick-up appointment time. If you wish to pay cash, please inform Natalie PRIOR to the close of the auction, so your BP can be discounted from 15% to 12%, before the invoices are generated.
ABANDONED ITEMS: ALL REFRIGERATED ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP NO LATER THAN 12 PM WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31, 2022. Reefers must be paid for by 12 PM, August 31st, and removed by 5 PM Friday, September 2, 2022. Items not picked up within this schedule will
be considered abandoned. You are required to pay for all items you bid on and
win in this auction, WHETHER OR NOT you pick them up. Your credit card, on
file, will be charged for your total balance, including the 15% Buyer's Premium
and the 6% sales tax, if you abandon your purchases. Should your payment
be declined, you will be banned from participating in all future auctions, and
the Auctioneer will pursue legal recourse to collect the amount you owe. All
attorney's fees, court costs, and other legal fees will be the responsibility
of the Bidder. In addition, interest will accrue on any unpaid balance, at the
rate of 18% per annum, until the balance is paid in full.
PAYMENT: Your total invoice must be paid, in full, the morning
following the auction. You will receive an invoice for your total which will
include a 15% Buyers Premium (discounted to 12% for cash, Zelle or Venmo
payments IF Natalie is notified PRIOR to the end of the auction), plus applicable sales tax. Credit cards being used for payment must
be saved in your Bidder Profile, as all credit card payments are processed
online only. Placing a bid contractually binds you to paying for an item. You
are required to pay for all items you bid on and win in this auction, WHETHER
OR NOT you pick them up. No charge backs or refunds will be allowed.
SALES TAX: Virginia sales tax of 6% will be charged on all items we
auction, except vehicles, unless the appropriate tax exemption form is on file,
prior to the end of the auction.
WARRANTY, CONDITIONS & DESCRIPTIONS: All items are sold
as-is, where-is, with NO warranties expressed or implied, and there are NO
refunds given, for any reason. Please read the description & examine the
photos when bidding. If there is any doubt when viewing an item, go by the description
as photographs sometimes include items that are NOT part of the lot. Most
importantly, we strongly encourage you to preview the auction in person.
Neither the auctioneer, nor the seller, makes any warranties or representations
of any kind or nature with respect to said property.
