We want you to get the best deal possible and encourage you to inspect all items before bidding. Due to the number of items we sell, we do NOT have time to test items. All due diligence belongs to the bidder. If you have any questions pertaining to a specific lot, please call 757-512-8833 or 757-287-8797 BEFORE placing a bid! IMPORTANT BIDDING NOTES: If an item's description says "Bid is x 2," your final bid will be multiplied by 2. Example: If you bid $60 on a lot with 2 shelving units, you will be invoiced for $60 x 2 = $120, plus either a 16% or 12% Buyer's Premium.
AUTO-EXTENDED AND MAX BIDDING: Our auctions feature a Simulated Live Auction Experience with staggered closings, auto-extended bidding and outbid notifications. Bidding on this auction closes at a pre-determined rate of 1 item every 30 seconds. With auto-extended bidding, the closing time of an individual lot will be extended by 2 additional minutes if a bid is placed within 2 minutes of that item's scheduled closing. This prevents a bid being placed just seconds before an item closes, and selling, without warning. Unlike bidding on eBay, this closely simulates a "live auction experience," so you have a chance to enter a competitive bid. 
PLEASE REFRESH YOU SCREEN WITHIN THE LAST 30 SECONDS, if you are bidding in real time, to make sure you see last minute bids!!
If you are unable to monitor your bids while the auction is closing, we encourage you to place a Max Bid, which grants permission to the program, to bid on your behalf. For example, if the next required bid is $20 on an item that would sell in a store for $150, and you are willing to bid up to $80, enter your Max Bid for $80. The program will enter your initial bid at $20. If no one bids against you, you will win the item for $20. If someone bids $25, the program will automatically bid $30 (the next required bid), on your behalf. The program will ONLY increase your bid, if someone bids against you.
PLEASE note: If someone placed a Max Bid for the same amount as someone bidding, in real time, and the item sells for that amount, the system will award the bid to the person who placed the Max Bid. If you did not place a Max Bid, you MUST refresh your screen, once the bidding has ended, to determine whether or not you won the bid.

AUCTION PICKUP TIME: By appointment ONLY on Wednesday, May 8th from 9 AM - 4 PM.
An invoice will be emailed to you after the auction ends on Tuesday. We ask that you schedule a tentative pick up appointment before the auction ends, especially if you have a specific time you are available. You may request an appointment any time after 9 AM on Monday, May 6th by texting Natalie at 757-287-8797 with your bidder #, your name and your preferred pick up time. Please also specify your intended method of payment for your auction purchases, IF YOU WANT A CASH DISCOUNT. No cash discount can be given after the auction ends. If you do not request an appointment in advance, Natalie will email or text you your pick up time, after the auction ends. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP AND OUT OF THE BUILDING, NO LATER THAN 5 PM WEDNESDAY, May 8, 2024, EXCEPT items with Thursday pick up in descriptions. Items not picked up by this deadline will be considered abandoned, NO EXCEPTIONS can be made, as the building is scheduled to be torn down.

PAYMENT: Your total invoice must be paid, in full, the day following the auction. You will receive an invoice for your total which will include a 16% Buyers Premium (discounted to 12% for cash, IF Natalie is notified prior to 1 PM, May 7th), plus applicable sales tax. Credit cards must be saved in your Bidder Profile, as all credit card payments are processed online, at 7 AM the morning of pick up.
By placing a bid, you agree to be contractually bound to paying for an item. You also agree that, if you win a bid on item(s), you will pay for the item(s), whether or not you pick up your item(s).
There will be no refunds or charge backs allowed on any item, for any reason whatsoever.

SALES TAX: Virginia sales tax of 6% will be charged on all items we auction, unless the appropriate tax exempt form is on file, prior to the end of the auction

WARRANTY, CONDITIONS & DESCRIPTIONS: All items are sold as-is, where-is, with NO warranties expressed or implied, and there are NO refunds given. Please read the description & examine the photos when bidding. If there is any doubt when viewing an item, go by the description, as photographs sometimes include items that are NOT part of the lot. Most importantly, we strongly encourage you to preview the auction items during the designated preview time. Neither the Auctioneer, auction staff, nor the Seller, makes any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to said property.

PICKUP / REMOVAL: All items must be removed on specified removal date of May 8, 2024 from 9AM - 4PM BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Bidders are responsible for providing all tools, ladders, equipment, labor & packing materials/containers needed to remove their items. Buyers are responsible for all costs involved with removal of their purchases. The auction staff does NOT dismantle, disconnect or provide any tools, equipment or labor necessary for item removal. 

ABANDONED ITEMS: Any items not picked up on the specified removal day, will be discarded, removed or resold at  Auctioneer's discretion. When you place the final bid, and are notified of winning an item, the item contractually becomes yours. You are required to pay for any, and all items you win, whether or not you pick them up. If you do not show up to pick up your items during the designated pick up times, the total amount you owe will be charged to your credit card on file. There will be no refunds or charge backs allowed on any item, for any reason, whatsoever. 
Any fees associated with moving, removing, discarding or collecting payment, whether physical or legal are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
