AUCTION PICKUP TIMES: Payment of all items will be required by appointment ONLY at Forest Glen location on Wednesday, March 29, 2023
, 11 AM - 4 PM. Payment for ALL items including vehicles, vans & buses, must be by cash or certified funds only. Pick up of vehicles and buses will be by appointment only, Wednesday, March 29th, 11 AM - 4 PM, unless you are unable to schedule a towing company for those times. In that case you may request an appointment through Friday, March 31st at 3 PM. 
Bidders are responsible for all costs, tools, equipment and labor involved with removal of their purchases, plus any and all damages caused during removal of purchases. The auction staff is not available to dismantle, disconnect or provide any tools or labor associated with item removal. 

An invoice will be emailed to you within 30 minutes after the auction ends on Tuesday, March 28th. We encourage you to schedule a pick up appointment before the auction ends, if you have a specific timeframe you are available. You may request an appointment any time after 9 AM on Monday, March 27th by texting Natalie at 757-287-8797 with your bidder #, your name and your preferred pick up time. Please also specify your intended method of payment for your auction purchases. If you do not request an appointment in advance, Natalie will text you after the auction ends.  Please respond by text or email by 6 PM on Tuesday, March 28th

ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID FOR and PICKED UP BY 4 PM WEDNESDAY, March 29th, 2023. Items not picked up within this schedule will be considered abandoned, NO EXCEPTIONS!

PAYMENT: There is a $100.00 credit card deposit required upon registration to bid online. The $100 deposit will be held for 24 hours and then refunded. Your total invoice must be paid, in full, the day following the auction. You will receive an invoice for your total which will include a 15% Buyers Premium, plus any applicable sales tax. FOR THIS AUCTION, payment must be made by cash or certified funds ONLY. Credit cards must be saved in your Bidder Profile, as all credit card deposits are processed online only. Placing a bid contractually binds you to paying for an item. If you win a bid, payment is required, whether or not you pick up your item(s). No refunds or chargebacks are permitted. 

SALES TAX: Virginia sales tax of 6% will be charged on all items, except vehicles, unless a valid tax exempt form is on file with the Auctioneer, prior to the close of the auction.

INSPECTION & PREVIEWS: We want you to get the best deal possible and encourage you to inspect all items before bidding. Due to the number of items we sell, we do NOT have time to closely examine items in the auction. All due diligence belongs to the bidder. If you have any questions pertaining to a specific lot, please call 757-512-8833 BEFORE placing a bid!

WARRANTY, CONDITIONS & DESCRIPTIONS: All items are sold as-is, where-is, with NO warranties expressed or implied, and there are NO refunds. Please read the description & examine the photos when bidding. If there is any doubt when viewing an item, go by the description as photographs can sometimes show items that are not included, or are otherwise inaccurate. Most importantly, we heavily encourage you to come preview the items at the designated preview time. Neither the auctioneer nor the seller makes any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to said property.

AUTO-EXTENDED BIDDING: Our auctions feature a Simulated Live Auction Experience with staggered closings, auto-extend bidding and bid notifications. This allows items to close at a pre-determined rate of 1 item per minute. When combined with auto-extend bidding, the closing time of individual lots will be extended when a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes of the auction. This allows you a chance to place a final bid on an item you may have otherwise missed, and closely simulates a "live auction” experience.

ABANDONED ITEMS: Any items not picked up on specified removal days, may be discarded, removed, resold or stored at Suffolk Public Schools' discretion. When you place a bid and are notified of winning an item, the item contractually becomes yours, and any fees associated with moving, removing, discarding or collecting payment, whether physical or legal are the responsibility of the bidder. Failure to remove any item by the specified time will forfeit your rights to the item.

If you are unable to schedule a tow truck for Wednesday, to pick up buses or vehicles that do not run, you still will be required to schedule an appointment with Natalie, but all vehicles must be removed before Friday, March 31st at 3 PM.
